Ab Slide - Ab Slide Review

Ab Slide Exercise and Ab Slide Review

I've had a chance to use the Ab Slide for sometime, and have use it as part of my ab exercises. Really, it's quite a simple contraption - a metal bar with a couple sets of wheels. Many people must be kicking themselves wondering why they didn't think of something so simple - me included. ;-)

How to Use the Ab Slide - Ab Slide Instructions

You grab the handle bars on each side, and then push the ab slide forward. As you roll forward, you'll feel your abdominal stretching, and you can vary the level of difficulty by pushing the ab slide completely in front where your body is flat almost touching the floor, or you can push it only half way forward, making it much easier to bring your body back up. This mainly targets your abdominal.

You can also work your oblique muscles (the muscles on the sides of your abs) by pushing the ab slide forward and to either left or right sides. A big plus of the Ab Slide is that it's very portable, and because its quite small, you can almost store it anywhere, or bring it with you on long trips.

Note: I would suggest using the ab slide on a hard surface, unless you want an extra hard workout. It'll glide more smoothly than using it on carpet.
